Mac OS X 10.5.6 and later

If your computer has OS X 10.5.6 installed, you do not need to use

Watcher for Mac to connect to your network. OS X 10.5.6 has built-in

WWAN (wireless wide area network) support.

1. Conﬁ rm that your computer has OS X 10.5.6 or later installed. To

view your OS X version, click the Apple menu (

), then select

About this Mac.

2. Uninstall Watcher for Mac.

3. Install the correct Mac Driver from www.sierrawireless.com/support.

a. On the Support page, under Carrier, select Others, then select

your product, language and platform (Mac OS X).

b. Click Next.

c. Download the driver for Apple native support and the

accompanying documentation.

d. See page 6.

Attach the lanyard

To keep everything together, it’s a good idea to thread the lanyard through the

cap and the modem, as shown in the illustrations.

If you are prompted to conﬁ gure a proﬁ le, click Yes. The Proﬁ les window

opens. From the list of default proﬁ les, select your service provider. If

your service provider is not on the list, contact them.

Click OK. The modem is ready to use.
